At Corvallis Birth Center we are dedicated to providing the best prenatal, birth, and postpartum care to our clients.  Our services include:

• Long prenatal visits with time for questions, sharing information, and forming relationships with your midwives
• Birth in our spacious birth suites or at home, attended by at least two of our midwives
• Freedom to move freely, eat, and drink during labor
• Birth on land or in water – your choice. All of our birth suites feature queen size beds and birth tubs

Placenta encapsulation is a process where your placenta is dehydrated, ground into powder and put into capsules for you to take during the postpartum period. Many women report improvements in mood, feeling calmer and more centered, increased milk supply, and boosted energy levels.

We charge $200 for placenta encapsulation, with a $50 discount for birth clients.  This includes your placenta capsules, dosing instructions, a placenta print and cord keepsake. 

How we feed our babies, and how we reflect on our feeding experience, sets the foundation for first foods for infants and the mother-baby bond.  

At Corvallis Birth Center, we provide lactation services as part of our commitment to continuous and comprehensive care for the whole family. 

As midwives, we are trained to provide assistance and support breastfeeding from pregnancy and beyond.  

In addition, we have the specialized services of Julia Bailey as an IBCLC to help you through this journey.
